Winter Adventures

Tis' the season to have lots of fun...and we did! We enjoyed playing in the snow,eating yummy treats and spending time with our family and friends. Christmas was amazing this year. Jonah is now old enough to know what presents are and I was so excited about Christmas morning that it was as if I was a child again. We spend Christmas Eve with Benji's wonderful family and it was super fun! It is a great tradition that we have and I always enjoy it. Yummy dinner prepared by Grandma Leonie and then opening gifts. Jonah and Isaac got spoiled of course and had a great time. Christmas morning we woke up to presents under the tree and Jonah kept saying "WOW, WOW"! He ripped them all open and Isaac's of course.We made a fancy breakfast, watch Kungfu Panda and all took a nap. We spent the evening with my family, having dinner and opening presents! We really enjoyed spending time with them! We really enjoyed having daddy home with us for 5 days. Thanks to all of our friends and family for the wonderful gifts! Sundance

My fabulous husband works with a great company call Aculis. They invited us to their Christmas Party on saturday at Sundance. It was a fabulous dinner, a free night in a suite and brunch. We had a super fun time. It was the first time in 8 months that we have left our babies overnight. Leonie was kind enough to take it on and we are forever thankful. We enjoyed our dinner and later when to the local Sundance local bar with everyone and had way to much fun! We have not done that in years and it brought us back to our youth! We Enjoyed our SUPER cold walk back to our suite and got to sleep in the next morning, however we forgot how and were up at 6:30! We skipped the brunch and went to breakfast and then picked up our boys! We MISSED them so much! However, it was a very much needed break and I feel refreshed because of it!

November 2008

It has been a long time since my last post. We have been busy, not sure with what but it is hard to get a moment to write. We have been consumed with our boys and loving it. Isaac is crawling and pulling himself up and started to cruise along the furniture. He is so tiny, I just can't imagine him walking in a few short months. He is growing up way too fast. Jonah is talking all of the time and makes us laugh everyday. He knows exactly how he likes things and wants them done and gets a little upset when we do things for him that he can do. We like that he is his own little person now. We started potty training about a month ago and he is doing great. It is mostly during the day but he gets it. Jonah and Isaac are playing well together and they make each other laugh. Jonah is always saying "watch this, baby". He likes to take care of him. Benji is doing well, working hard and is the best daddy in the whole world. I am doing good, I LOVE my job! We are looking forward to the holidays, the boys will have a blast. They discovered some toys this morning, oh well, they were occupied while I folded laundry. The probably won't remember by Christmas morning anyway!
